​At the Little Island Preschool we offer a revolutionary cutting edge curriculum that is a blend between Creative Curriculum, Reggio Curriculum and Montessori Curriculum.  We have taken the best elements from each of these widely accepted and accredited Curriculums in order to make the best program possible for our students.  In addition our 3-5 year olds take part in an advanced  literacy program to prep for Kindergarten.  

     Our students also participate in the following programs at no extra charge:

 

                                       - Yoga (instructed by The Art of Yoga Studio)

                                      - Soccer (instructed by G.P.S. Soccer) *Sept-May.

                                      - Spanish Language Immersion 

                                     

 

    The Little Island Preschool welcomes our families to interact with our school.  We take note from Harvard University who advocates family and community involvement.  So at the Little Island Preschool we ask parents to volunteer and take part in your child's day and studies whenever possible. 

 

     It's important for our students to learn everything they can from the community that they are a part of as well.  So we have obtained professionals from throughout the Hilton Head Community to take part in our programming as well:

                                     -Monthly Visits from the local Fire Department to learn Safety

                                     -Visits from experts at the local Hospital

                                     - Visits from other Community Helpers (such as local dentist, animal                                                         trainers, etc)

 

 

     At the Little Island Preschool we also advocate learning healthy living and healthy eating.  Students will take part in activities that foster healthy bodies.  And also take part in small gardening activities.  

 

     The Little Island Preschool serves Morning Snack, Lunch and an Afternoon Snack daily using balanced meals that adhere to USDA standards.  Our students also learn where our food comes from and how it helps their bodies and minds grow.
