Where Did Little Island Preschool Come From?
The Little Island Preschool was opened in response to the demand of the Hilton Head community for quality, nurturing, affordable care.
Our mission is to offer affordable top quality care and education for young children in a nurturing environment. And to facilitate each child's inherent need to learn, grow and experience meaningful activities daily.
Our staff are highly trained, certified and have years of professional experience.
Are you wanting the world for the most important person in your life? The Little Island Preschool knows how important your little one/s is so we are here to do more every single day.
The Little Island Preschool is also one of the only Island Programs that offers amazing experience for your family at no extra cost. We believe parents should not be charged extra for Yoga, Soccer, Gymnastics and an Advanced Literacy Program.
Lastly Little Island Preschool is dedicated in enriching the lives of our students through Community Outreach. Harvard advocates family and community involvement in the education of young minds. We believe in the same so our students participate in giving back to the community with the fresh food from our garden, doing art for the elderly and so much more.
School Founder
Shay Jordan
Shay and her husband have lived in the Hilton Head area for nearly 5 years. Professionally trained in Early Childhood in North Carolina- home of some of the country's most renowned Early Childhood standards and training. She holds countless certifications and an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood.
Bringing over 14 years of professional experience in the field to the program, Shay is dedicated to offering "something more" to the surrounding community. She also has two little ones under 2, so developing a top program on Hilton Head was a priority and a must.
